Mama Manchu Alludu Kanchu is a family entertainer starring Mohan Babu and Allari Naresh. The film is directed by Srinivas Reddy and has hit the screens today. Let’s see how it is.
The film is all about Bakthavatsalam Naidu (Mohan Babu). He gets married to two women Priyamvada (Ramya Krishna) and Suryakantham (Meena). He manages to play this double game since 25 years and takes help from his friend Ismail when he is in trouble. Twist in the tale arises when his daughter (Poorna) is attracted towards is other wife’s son (Varun Sandesh). To get out of this problem, Bakthavatsalam Naidu decides to take help from Balraju (Allari Naresh) to distract his daughter’s attention. The next twist is Balraju falls in love with his daughter and creates more problems to him. The rest of the story is all about how he manages to face troublesome Balraju and solves his marital issues.
Mohan Babu is good at doing his best, he delivers superb performance. Allari Naresh is outstanding and he brings laughs in bits and pieces. Poorna is beautiful and they make up a good pair once again. Krishna Bhagawan, Varun Sandesh, Sanyasi Rao, and the other artists are good at their respective roles.
Production values of the film are good. Director is okay, and he could have written an interesting and engaging screenplay. Camera work is amazing and the whole film is showcased in a decent light. Editing is just okay and some of the scenes in the second half could have been edited better.
