Soggade Chinni Nayana starring Nagarjuna and Ramya Krishnaan is the last release for this Sankranthi. The film is directed by Kalyan Krishna and has hit the screens today. Let’s review it.
Bangaraju (Nagarjuna) leads a happy life in a village. He is crazy about girls and spends some good time with them. Unfortunately, Bangaraju dies in an accident, when his wife is pregnant. Later, Satya (Ramya Krishna) gives birth to a baby boy. She wishes to grow him in a highly disciplined manner and finally makes him a doctor. Ram Mohan (Son) returns to India after marrying Seetha (Lavanya) to take divorce. The main reason for the divorce is Ram Mohan’s attitude. Satya decides to bring change in his son. The rest of the story is how Satya will change her son with the help of Bangaraju’s spirit.
Nagarjuna looks more stylish and handsome in his new getup, as the years are passing he is turning younger. He delivered outstanding performance in his two different roles as a father and son. He is impressive and the role is entertaining. Ramya Krishna played an important role as a mother and she is apt for the role. The chemistry between Nagarjuna and Ramya Krishna is fantastic and they make a great couple on screen. Lavanya Tripathi is pretty and so is Anasuya. Hamsa Nandini and other girls added color to the film. Even Brahmanandam has got a good role and he is entertaining. Anushka appears in a cameo. Nasser, Sampath, Bramaji, Chalapathi and other actors are good at their respective roles.
The production values of the film are excellent and they have not compromised in bringing the quality product. Cinematography is eye-catching as the visuals are grand. Music and the background score is good and all the songs have been shot well. Dialogues are good and they suit the mood of the film. Now coming to the director, he has done a good job by adding some action and commercial elements. He is successful in dealing with a typical subject involving family emotions and masala elements.
