Baahubali, it’s the most prestigious project of Telugu Film Industry by SS Rajamouli. It’s considered as the biggest motion picture in India, and has hit the screens today. Let’s see how it is.
Shivudu (Prabhas) is brought up by some villagers, and want to reach his world of fantasy, which is on the top of a hill. One day, Tamannah’s stunning looks gives him magical power to reach hill top, and falls in love with Avanthika. But, she and her group are trying hard to save the princes Devasena (Anushka) from evil control of Bhalaladeva (Rana). Now, Shivudu decides to help Avanthika and enters the kingdom of Mahishmati. Will Shivudu rescue Devasena? Who is Devasena? Who is Shivudu in real life? Watch the film to know answers for all these questions.
Prabhas played dual role and delivered outstanding performance. We can see his dedication and commitment in these two different roles – Shivudu and Amarendra Baahubali. Rana Daggubatti is fantastic, and played the role of Ballaladeva. His appearance, body language, and everything is eye-catching, and he is apt for the role. Anushka has nothing much to do with the movie, but delivered power packed performance in limited screen time. Tamanna is okay. Ramya Krishna is the real show-stealer. Satyaraj, Sesh Adivi, Tanikella Bharani, Rohini are good at their roles.
Baahubali – it’s technically brilliant. The sets, VFX work and computer graphics are eye-catching, and are beyond the expectation. It’s a visual treat for audience, and we should be proud to see these visual effects on Telugu screen. Art direction is superb, and Sabu Cyril has done a great job with sets. Everything is impressive, be it the kingdom surroundings, warfare equipment or the palace. Music is okay and the background score could have been better. Senthil Kumar has done a fantastic job. SS Rajamouli’s screen play is good in bits and pieces but he managed to take the film to a decent level in second half.
