Music Director : Karthik-Anup Rubens, Sandeep Chowta (background score)
Courier Boy Kalyan starring Nithin and Yami Gautham has hit the screens today. The film is directed by debutant Prem Sai. Let’s see how it is.
Kalyan (Nithin) is a happy go lucky youngster without any job. One day, he falls in love with Kavya (Yami Gautham) at first sight when he delivers a cover on behalf of his friend. Now, he takes the job of courier boy just for her and starts visiting Kavya’s office with parcels every day. On the other hand, some sinister is taking place in a reputed corporate hospital. Twist in the tale arises when Kalyan is asked to deliver a parcel. Now, some strangers follow Kalyan for the parcel. What is that parcel? How Kalyan face this situation? That forms rest of the story.
Nithin delivered brilliant performance and he is apt for the role. Yami Gautham is pretty as a sales girl and she has nothing to do with the main story line. Ashutosh Rana is good as a sinister doctor. Satyam Rajesh plays vital role in the film and he is entertaining. Rajesh, Harshavardhan and others are good at their respective role.
Director Sai Prem has come up with a unique plot but he failed to make it interesting. Screenplay is poor. Music by Karthik and Anup Rubens is okay but the songs are misplaced. Background score by Sandeep Chowta is decent and takes the film to next level. Camera work is brilliant and brings you the fresh look. Editing is okay.
