Bengal Tiger is prestigious project for Ravi Teja as his previous film KICK2 failed to impress audience. The film is directed by Sampath Nandi and has hit the screens today. Let’s review it.
Aakash (Ravi Teja) is a happy go lucky guy. He falls in love with a girl, but he was rejected for not being a famous personality. Now, he decides to become popular by hook or crook. He will get in touch with State Minister (Sayaji Shinde) and through him, and he manages to become right-hand for Home Minister (Rao Ramesh) in less time. Meanwhile, Home Minister’s daughter (Raashi Khanna) falls in love with Aakash. The home minister fixes his daughter’s wedding and invites Chief Minister for the function. Twist in the tale arises when Home Minister announces that Aakash would be his son-in-law in the function. What is the twist? What is the role of Tammana in this set up? Watch the film of big screen to get answers.
Ravi Teja delivers outstanding performance and he looks good compared to his sullen look in KICK2. He is successful in entertaining audience. Rashi Khanna and Tammana adds glamour to the movie, they will simply steal the show. Also, Tammana appeared in bikini, which is an eye treat for all her fans. Bomman Irani is superb and plays an important role. Prudhvi is amazing and he generated few laughs and he played the role of Future Star Siddappa. Brahmanandam is wasted again. Tanikella, Nagineedu, Rao Ramesh and Shayaji Shinde are good at their respective roles.
Camera work is fantastic and showcases the film in a decent light. The production values of the film are rich and the makers have not compromised to bring the quality product. It’s worth to mention about fight masters Ram Lakshman for composing interesting fights. Music by Bheems is okay but the background score is impressive. Now coming to the director Sampath Nandhi, he has done a great job but makes the film routine in the second half.
• Ravi Teja
• Skin show by Tamanna and Rashi
• Pruthvi's character
• Entertaining first half
• Background music
• Predictable second half
Entertaining first half and routine second half
